A TV journalist from The Sunday Project has claimed he and the crew were kicked off Hamilton Island after being told they were not welcome.

Hamish Mcdonald tweeted on Friday that they were filming a story about sharks in the Whitsundays throughout the week.
"Tour operators are breaking ranks to tell us they're being 'silenced' by the tourism body," he wrote.
"And INCREDIBLY, our crew was escorted off Hamilton Island after being told we're not welcome there."
This comes after several tragic shark attacks at the Whitsundays, including a Victorian doctor who died more than a week ago.
Dr Daniel Christidis was mauled by a shark in the same place as another Whitsundays shark attack victim, Justine Barwick, who was severely bitten in September.
A 12-year-old girl, Hannah Papps, was also attacked 24 hours after Ms Barwick and had lost her left leg.
Hannah returned to her hometown in Melbourne after being in a Queensland hospital for weeks after the attack.
The most recent shark incident happened on the Sunshine Coast, where a four-metre tiger shark bit a kayak, sending a man "flying" into the water on Thursday morning.
Ms Barwick says she is "devastated" by the death of a young man by a shark in the same place on Monday night.
