A man has been charged over an attack on the Samoan Prime Minister, which allegedly included meat and eggs being thrown on the floor of a Logan church where the PM was speaking.

The incident occurred on November 14 about 7.30pm when a group of people arrived at the church on McCarthy Road in Marsden, south of Brisbane, and tried to disrupt the gathering, police said.
It will be alleged a man got inside the function room where Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi was speaking before yelling abuse, throwing meat and eggs on the floor.
According to TV1 Samoa, a pigs head, raw eggs, plastic bag with raw meat and rocks with threatening messages written on them were thrown during the disturbance.
The local news outlet also said Mr Tuilaepa had no security guards with him and two male members of the Catholic Parish intervened and removed the man from the room.
Mr Tuilaepa, who was unharmed, had been speaking about the announcement of Samoa Airways flights between Brisbane and the Samoan capital, Apia.
Queensland Police confirmed last week it was investigating the incident, sayek and said detectives were aware of various videos which purportedly captured the attack.
On Tuesday, police announced a 41-year-old Riverview man had been charged with public nuisance and he was expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on December 10.
Comment was sought from Mr Tuilaepa's office last week but there was no response.
