A man has been trampled by a cow on a remote central Queensland property.

The man, aged in his 30s, had been loading cattle into a truck just after 9am on Tuesday morning when he was hit by a cow and fell backwards.
The man was unable to move after he smacked his head on the cattle yard railing.
He was then repeatedly trod on by the cow, causing suspected broken ribs and lacerations.
The man was taken to the local hospital about 140 kilometres south of Rockhampton for initial treatment.
He was then picked up just before 10am on Tuesday by the RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service.
He was flown to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition after being further stabilised by the on board critical care paramedic and doctor.
