A woman is fighting for her life in hospital after suffering critical head injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Brisbane's north.

Police said a black BMX sedan was allegedly travelling westbound at high speed, along Hamilton Road from Zenith Avenue towards Staib Road at Chermside about 3.45pm on Saturday.
A black Nissan Micra was allegedly leaving The Prince Charles Hospital on Staib Road when the BMW crashed into the Nissan.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the driver of the Nissan, a 52-year-old woman, was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the BMW, a 24-year-old woman, and passenger, a 24-year-old man, were taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital with minor injuries.
The 24-year-old woman has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing grievous bodily harm whilst adversely affected by an intoxicating substance and drive a motor vehicle whilst disqualified.
She will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on November 26.
Police are calling on witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage in relation to the crash to come forward while the Forensic Crash Unit investigation continues.
