The Bruce Highway has been clogged by a combined total of 35 kilometres of southbound congestion on Sunday afternoon as the school holidays came to an end.

Australian Traffic Network reporter Michelle Anderson said by 4pm, there were more than 25 kilometres of delays on the Bruce Highway between Beerburrum and Burpengary.
Ms Anderson said there were also just under 10 kilometres of further congestion between Kallangur and Bald Hills.
Meanwhile, traffic was banked up for about seven kilometres on the M1 between Burleigh Heads and Mudgeeraba at 4pm.
It comes after a two-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway caused 25 kilometres of southbound traffic delays earlier on Sunday.
One of the vehicles involved in the Caboolture crash rolled over and hit a tree just before 9am, leading to southbound congestion forming between Caboolture and Landsborough.
Part of the highway was blocked for several hours while police waited for a tow truck, but reopened about midday.
By 11.30pm, 20 kilometres of southbound traffic backed up and about six kilometres of delays heading north, according to Australian Traffic Network reporter Charlton Hart.
By 12.45pm, 25 kilometres of southbound traffic backed up and northbound delays had cleared, according to Australian Traffic Network reporter Michelle Anderson.
Paramedics treated the male driver of the flipped vehicle for multiple injuries before taking him to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a stable condition.
