A Translink spokesman said the lines were suspended between Lindum and Cleveland stations due to an overhead power line issue caused by the crash on Sandy Camp Road about 2.30pm on Wednesday.
"Customers can expect delays of up to 60 minutes and buses are being arranged for those affected," he said.
A Queensland Rail spokeswoman said it was unclear how the incident occurred.
