Police in Karratha have charged a man with over a dozen drug and weapon offences as part of an ongoing operation targeting the Mongrel Mob outlaw motorcycle gang.
The man was arrested on Tuesday after Karratha detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Delambre Drive in Nickol.
It is alleged the man was in the house armed with a machete.
During the search it is alleged police found a machete, a home-made taser, cannabis and various drug paraphernalia.
The 41-year-old man of Nickol has been charged with over a dozen drug and weapon related offences.
He is due to appear before the Karratha Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
The arrest comes after seven other people were charged with a raft of drug offences in the region last week.
Those people were arrested and charged also as a result of the operation targeting the Mongrel Mob gang.
