Motorcyclist killed in early morning Perth freeway crash

A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Lathlain early on Friday morning.

The crash happened just after 7.30am on the Graham Farmer Freeway near the Great Eastern Highway intersection.

The male rider was taken to Royal Perth Hospital but has since died.

Police are also investigating a separate crash overnight in Perth's southern suburbs.

The crash happened in Warnbro shortly after 7:30pm when a green Ford sedan was travelling south on Ennis Avenue.

As the driver turned into Royal Palm Drive the vehicle collided with a Subaru Outback travelling north on Ennis Avenue.

The impact of the collision caused the Outback to roll several times before coming to rest on a median strip.

The driver of the Ford, a 46-year-old woman, was taken to Rockingham Hospital as a precaution.

The 37-year-old male driver of the Outback was flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue Helicopter with serious injuries.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone that witnessed the crash or saw either vehicle travelling prior to the crash.
