Police are investigating a hit and run crash south-east of Perth on Thursday which has left a 69-year-old man with serious injuries.
The crash happened about 9am near the intersection of Elizabeth and Station Streets in East Cannington.
Police say a beige sedan collided with the pedestrian as he was walking along the pavement alongside Elizabeth Street.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene and was last seen driving south along Elizabeth Street.
Members of the public stopped to help the man who was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
