Land deals glow in the dark

I expect that ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr personally deserves some of the criticism for poor administration of Canberra land development – if only on the grounds of being the person with whom the buck stops. But it really is time to wonder whether he is being well served by his colleagues, his hand-picked senior public servants and the public administration that he has gathered about him – for so long that Labor can hardly claim it was not created in its own image.
