Combustible cladding has been confirmed on five Queensland government buildings, making them fire risks that will cost millions to fix.

An audit investigated the extent of combustible polyethylene cladding in Queensland, following the deadly fire at the Grenfell Tower building in London, identifying 172 government-owned buildings for further investigation.
Authorities have now confirmed Logan Hospital will require remediation work, which is yet to start. The extent of work at the Logan Hospital and the associated costs were not yet available.
Work has begun on a Queensland Rail building next to Central Station in the Brisbane CBD and the former Children's Court building on Quay Street.
The work on the old Children's Court was expected to take about four weeks, finishing in late September or early October, at a cost of about $42,300.
A Child Safety, Youth and Women Department spokeswoman said about 40 staff worked in the building but there no disruption to business operations were expected.
A social housing complex in South Brisbane was rectified in 2017 at a cost of $12,000.
Work is continuing on the Princess Alexandra Hospital, which is expected to be finished in late 2019.
The total cost of the Princess Alexandra Hospital work, which involved removing 24,000 square metres of cladding, was expected to be in the tens of millions of dollars.
It was anticipated that detailed testing of all government buildings would be completed by March 2019.
Public Works Minister Mick de Brenni said his department was working with government agencies that owned affected buildings to consider legal options to recoup the costs associated with rectifications.
The audit, by the Non-Conforming Building Products Taskforce, also identified that about 10 per cent of 12,000 privately-owned buildings investigated would require further investigation.
Mr de Brenni said from October 1, owners of private buildings would have to inform occupants if it was confirmed their building needed rectification.
"In all cases in government buildings where rectifications are required, building occupants have been informed, which is in line with my expectations," he said.
"Where government buildings require rectification, we are getting on with the job."
An LNP spokesman said it was important to ensure people were safe in their workplaces.
