Pie in Sky raises $20k for Queanbeyan charities

It wasn't Pie in the Sky after all. The charity rugby league game involving a raft of rugby league stars including Mal Meninga, Terry Campese and Jason Croker raised $20,000 for charity.

Held at Seiffert Oval back in September, an All Stars team took on the Queanbeyan Blues to help raise money and awareness for the Treehouse and Respite Care for Queanbeyan.

Each charity was presented with a $10,000 cheque earlier this month.

There's another event planned to raise more money for the Treehouse, with a charity golf day at Queanbeyan Golf Club on February 15.
