Moore will take over as Brumbies captain next season and, provided he stays fit and the team continues to perform over the next two years, he is set to challenge Nathan Sharpe's Australian record of 162 Super Rugby games.
Moore, who has played 130 Super Rugby matches and 92 Tests for the Wallabies, is recovering from a knee reconstruction and is on track to be fit for the start of the Super Rugby season.
It would put Moore, who suffered the injury in his debut as Australian captain, in contention for next year's World Cup.
Moore's pledge to play on in Australia after the World Cup is a big boost for the Brumbies and Australian Rugby Union, given the upheaval that has taken place within the Wallabies structure over the past few weeks.
Moore, who turns 32 prior to kick-off of the 2015 Super Rugby season, could have pursued more lucrative options overseas. But his experience and leadership will be invaluable for the Wallabies, who have struggled to fill his place at hooker.
