A Gilmore man, who police allege is HIV-positive and paid underage girls for unprotected sex, will face trial in the ACT Supreme Court on charges including rape and causing grievous bodily harm.

Robert Glen Sirl, 47, faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to all charges against him.
Mr Sirl will stand trial accused of raping a woman in August last year. He is accused of leaving her with injuries requiring surgery and a blood transfusion. He has also been charged with sexual intercourse with a minor for an unrelated act.
Documents previously tendered in court said the woman visited Mr Sirl's residence at the Symonston Long Stay Caravan Park to buy drugs before she willingly consumed a cup of coffee with methamphetamine dissolved in it.
Police allege Mr Sirl later took the woman to the bedroom where he pinned her down and raped her. Mr Sirl allegedly then inserted foreign objects into the woman causing her a large amount of pain and she later realised she had begun to bleed profusely.
The woman eventually took herself to the shower in the amenities block and called for help from Mr Sirl when she could not stem the bleeding, police said.
He allegedly threw her a bath mat and left her. The woman later called an ambulance and was taken to Canberra Hospital where severe lacerations to her vaginal wall and cervix were discovered. The woman underwent emergency surgery and received a blood transfusion, the documents stated.
Later that day, police officers attended a property in Gilmore where Mr Sirl rented a room and they allegedly discovered Mr Sirl having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
According to the documents, the girl would not give a statement. Police believed Mr Sirl had given the girl drugs, a mobile phone and money in exchange for sex. She did tell them Mr Sirl had never worn a condom during intercourse with her.
Police officers told the court at an earlier appearance that Mr Sirl was HIV-positive.
Mr Sirl denies all allegations levelled at him. In an interview with police, detailed in court documents, Mr Sirl said he had engaged in consensual sex with the woman and it had included the use of sex toys.
He also told police the underage girl had told him she was 18 years old.
Mr Sirl has been held in custody since his arrest and his matter will appear in the ACT Supreme Court later this month.
