Canberra cybersecurity firm named Telstra business of the year

Canberra cybersecurity firm Penten was named the 2018 Telstra Australian Business of the Year in Melbourne on Thursday.

The company, just three years old and made of only 45 staff, helps defence and government agencies protect themselves against digital threats.

Penten also took home the Medium & Making Waves Award given to successful business with an annual turnover of over $3 million and with under 200 employees.

Canberra consultancy Think Place was awarded the Social Change Maker Award, given to businesses Telstra believes are making a positive social impact.
