Some say John Bateman is "a god". Others want to use their entire back as a canvas for any tattoo artist daring enough to draw the rugby league star.

Now Canberra Raiders fans have thrown their weight behind a petition to have picturesque coastal town Batemans Bay renamed "John Bateman's Bay".
It is safe to say the English import has taken all of one month to reach cult hero status in Canberra.
The sun and sand might be something different for the 25-year-old, who grew up in a rough housing estate in the north of England.
A glance at his arms suggest ink is more his go, and one punter joked on social media he is considering getting a Bateman tattoo all over his back.
Such a good bloke is the Green Machine forward, soon after he offered to pay for it.
The petition to rename Batemans Bay in honour of the workhorse forward needs just 100 signatures before the 'The Rugby League Gazelle' takes it to "NSW Minister for Planning and Housing Anthony Roberts by season's end".
Safe to say Raiders fans flocked to sign the change.org petition as soon as they got wind of the idea.
From the moment he faked throwing a ball at a rival player in his NRL debut, it became clear this is just the man Raiders coach Ricky Stuart needed to add some grunt to his forward pack.
The Raiders forward sits equal third on the Dally M leader board on six, one behind Sydney Roosters fullback James Tedesco and three in arrears of Melbourne five-eighth Cameron Munster.
