A 29-year-old Bethania woman has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car while crossing Albert Street in the Logan suburb of Waterford West.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the woman was seriously injured at the incident between Logan River Bridge and Nerang Street early on Tuesday morning.
The driver of the car was not injured.
The crash occurred about 3.50am with police closing the road as investigators worked.
Queensland Ambulance Service senior operations supervisor Michael Low said paramedics were called to the incident to find the woman had sustained critical injuries to her chest and leg.
Three ambulance units attended including a high acuity unit and critical care paramedic.
The woman was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Eastbound drivers were being diverted onto Loganlea Road until 8am when the road was reopened.
