It's not often that television and movie streaming giant Netflix releases ACT-specific data but I've managed to get my hands on a couple of intriguing facts on what you're all watching. And it makes me love you even more.
So it turns out the ACT has the highest number of "binge racers" per capita than any other capital city in Australia. What's a binge racer? It's where subscribers binge watch a television series within the first 24 hours of its release. Like count down the days until an entire series is released, put on a tracksuit, hit play on Episode 1 and basically don't move for hours.
When it comes to the most binge raced show of all-time in Canberra, I know what you're all thinking: House of Cards, Homeland or even Suits.
Wrong. We're all about Lorelai and Rory, or more specifically, what happened to them after we left them in 2007. Yes Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is Canberra's most binge raced show of all-time.
The next series we couldn't get enough of was Marvel's The Defenders when it launched in August last year. It's our second-most binge raced show, and we happily watched the mini-series - based on the adventures of superhero team Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist - into the wee hours.
The television series at number three is one I've never even heard of (sorry to all the fans out there). It's animated series Castlevania, based on the video game of the same name.
Rated MA15+ and containing "strong violence, strong blood and gore, and strong horror themes", it's only a matter of time before my 11-year-old son starts begging to watch it.
After Canberrans, Queenslanders and Tasmanians are the next biggest binge racers in Australia, with the sunshine state and the apple isle coming in at numbers two and three respectively.
