Graduate numbers up for Home Affairs and Defence, down or steady elsewhere

The government's new mega department of Home Affairs has recorded one of the biggest jumps in graduate numbers in 2018, while other major departments have cut their intakes back to levels last seen under the Abbott government's budget cuts.
