No, I'm not talking avocado lattes with chocolate on the side - I'm talking chocolate on chocolate on caramel on ice cream. Oh, and did I mention the Easter martini? Yum!
I could eat chocolate for every meal of the day if it was acceptable, and if I would still fit into my wardrobe after a week of choccy for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
But I could live out my dream if just for a day with all of the Easter creations available in cafes and bars throughout Canberra in the lead up to the bunny's visit.
Let's start at Double Shot Deakin with the Creme Egg Cronut. A warm cinnamon cronut filled with custard and topped with a chocolate egg and berries. As if this isn't the perfect naughty breakfast.
How good does a steamed bao bun sound? Even better is that this one comes filled with Nutella and other chocolate goodness. You can find them at Baby Su.
Then there's the a delicious offering from Doughnut Department - a hot cross bun style doughnut which comes in a six piece box set. Because one is never enough, right?
With the weather expected to stay warm this week, you'll be wanting to grab an ice cream. Good news is Frugii has made a Hot Cross Bun Ice Cream. If that doesn't sound good enough, they have made it with hot cross buns from 3 Mills Bakery.
Here's my personal favourite - The Easter Egg Martini from The Dock. Think caramel vodka, milo and baileys chilled and served with a Cadbury egg. Hello heaven in a glass!
Love yourself some loaded fries, well just wait until you've tried a loaded egg from The Sweet Tooth Society. This is what Easter dreams are made of. The Instagram business has endless Easter creations ready for you to enjoy.
If you haven't yet had enough, head to Enigma Chocolates where you will find yourself a variety of handmade Easter creations. I would recommend the Blond Enigma Egg, but they've also got hot cross domes and Not Cross Buns.
