You might call them a corflute, I might call them a poster, but before we call the whole thing off, it's fun to start a little competition to see which candidate has the best.
We'll start the ball rolling with the ALP's glamour candidate for Brindabella, Taimus Werner-Gibbings, the party obviously playing up his good looks with some quite fancy black-and-white shots for his posters.
We'll give him the Could Have Been Shot By Bruce Weber for Vanity Fair Award for that one.
There is another version of Taimus in an homage to Barack Obama's now iconic Hope poster from the 2008 US presidential campaign.
Definitely eye-catching but near-on-impossible to trump (ahem) the original. Close but no cigar for that one.
Then we come to the sweet poster for Gordon Ramsay, the ALP candidate for Ginninderra.
Instead of avoiding any reference to his namesake - the potty-mouthed celebrity chef - our Gordon Ramsay has embraced it. Without the expletives, of course.
His election poster looks like the cover of a cookbook, complete with spoon and the promise he has a "recipe for a stronger Canberra".
We'll give that the Best Use of Celebrity Connection Award.
