Crews were alerted to the incident on the corner of Rudd and Bunda Streets shortly after 10am.
The pedestrian, aged in her 20s was stabilised at the scene by intensive-care paramedics and was transported to The Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
She sustained suspected superficial head injuries and abrasions, the Emergency Services Agency said.
A road was closed while the ambulance attended, but has since re-opened.
