Both Rowan Walker and Kelly-Ann Varey backed up their Canberra Times marathon and running festival wins from April by taking out the 14-kilometre fun run on Sunday.

The 45-year-old Bruce man crossed the finish line in 45 minutes and 13 seconds.
"I went out pretty solid early and there was no one to chase so I just got stuck in my own pace and tried to keep a rhythm," Mr Walker said.
Ms Varey was the first woman over the line in 50.53.
Training to represent Australia in the 50km World Championship in Doha Quatar in December, the ultra-marathon runner from Harrison followed the race with a 10km chaser.
"It was a speed workout; if I'm doing speed I'll do 20km, if I'm doing endurance I'll do 35km," Ms Varey said.
Adelaide's Nathenial Arkley topped the field in the 14km wheelchair race with a time of 31.38.
The 20-year-old has raced in the London Paralympics and is gearing up for Rio next year.
"It was my first time racing this course but the conditions were perfect. It's quite a scenic course, a few hills through there so I was going through a world of pain but I managed to pull through. It was taxing but I loved it," Mr Arkley said.
Finishing seconds behind him were teammates Jake Lappin and Richard Colman.
The elite racers were in Canberra attending national camp.
"The last 5km are pretty windy, you drop a fair bit of speed there and need to build it up again but the rest are pretty good. There are some real fast bits there," Mr Lappin said.
"It's got everything. It's got fast corners and hills and it's got a few speed humps so it's really tested us today," Mr Colman said.
Bradley Croker took out top spot in the 10km race, blitzing the field with a time of 30.47.
"I got away really early so it was tough to time trial it. When you've got people there to push you it's easier to keep going," Mr Croker said.
Bruce runner Lissy Duncan was the first woman to cross the line in the 10km event, powering in at 33.56.
Timothy Lefroy was first over the line in the men's 5km event, with a 15.20 dash.
Keely Small took out the women's 5km in 17.57.
At 14, the Curtin teenager has already competed in the fun run four times.
"I have this drive that keeps me going, I have a drive to win. I always try," she said.
Seven-time Ironman champion and former Olympic long-distance swimmer Ky Hurst flew through the 10km course wearing a Westpac Lifesaver Rescue helicopter suit.
A little bulkier than his usual running attire, the Canberra Times Fun Run ambassador said he wasn't the only one sweating.
"It's not the easiest thing to run in, the real chopper cuts through the air a little easier than I did," he said.
"It was just awesome the local support showed here in Canberra, for the community to step out and have a wonderful morning is just fantastic."
