ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER COMMEMORATIVE CEREMONY

6.30am The ceremony will be held after the Anzac Day Dawn Service at the Aboriginal Memorial Plaque located west of the walking track at the foot of Mount Ainslie.

NATIONAL CEREMONY

Large numbers are expected at this year's ceremony. Members of the public should arrive from 8.30am.

9am Ticket-holders admitted to seating

11.45am (approximately) Veterans march

12.30pm (approximately) National Ceremony ends

ROAD CLOSURES

Road closures in effect from 3.30am until 1pm:

PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION

On-site parking will be extremely limited. There will be limited parking onsite for mobility impaired visitors with a government-issued pass.

Free park-and-ride shuttle services to the memorial will operate from 3.45am to 5.00 am for the Dawn Service and from 8.30am to 10am for the National Ceremony. The shuttle will stop at Majura Park Shopping Centre, Russell offices and the Canberra Centre . Return services will start 20 minutes after the end of the ceremonies.

ACTION Buses will run a free bus service to the Dawn Service between 4am and 5am from Gungahlin, Belconnen, City, Woden and Tuggeranong bus stations. Return services will run from 20 minutes after the ceremonies.

A free bus service will also be run to and from the National Ceremony.

GENERAL INFORMATION

A significant number of visitors are expected at this year's services. Organisers have encouraged visitors to use public transport and to allow plenty of time for travel.

Dawn Service attendees have been encouraged to wear warm clothing and bring a torch.

First-aid and ambulance services will be available on-site.

Poppies, candles, and programs will be available for a donation.

Poppy's Café will be open from 6am and will operate pop-up food and beverage stands.

GALLIPOLI DAWN SERVICE BROADCAST

The Dawn Service held at Anzac Cove in Gallipoli will be broadcast live at the memorial in the afternoon. Limited seating will be available but members of the public can watch on large screens in the Sculpture Garden and on the Western Lawn. Memorial staff can provide a broadcast time on the day.

LAST POST CEREMONY

The daily Last Post Ceremony will start at 4.45 pm in the memorial's Commemorative Area. All members of the public are welcome to attend the ceremony. A larger crowd than usual is expected at the ceremony. It will also be broadcast live via webcam on the memorial's website.
