Police are investigating whether the incidents were linked, but said neither appeared to be connected to an incident which saw five bullets fired into a Gowrie home last Monday.
A resident reported bullet holes in their car, which was parked on Nina Jones Crescent in Chisholm, about 8.15am.
The resident heard a noise about 1.45am Sunday morning but hadn't gone outside to find out what it was, police said.
Detectives found the car had been peppered by up to seven shots.
Police were also called to a unit complex in Kellick Place, Gordon, after reports of possible gunfire about 3.30am.
They weren't able to find any damage or suspects, but said a car was seen speeding away from the complex soon after the incident.
Bullet holes were found in a car parked in the driveway when police searched the complex later on Sunday.
Police seized drugs, ammunition and a replica firearm in a series of raids in Florey, Cook and Richardson which followed the earlier Gowrie shooting.
A gold-coloured Subaru WRX, which CCTV footage showed driving past the house at the time the shots were fired, was found ablaze on Mountain Creek Road in Uriarra shortly after 9am on Monday.
