Three men forced their way into a Canberra man's home on Christmas Day, knocked him unconscious and robbed him.
ACT Policing said on Saturday that the aggravated burglary happened about 10pm in Conder on Christmas Day.
"A 45-year-old man was at home when he answered the door to a female friend. A short time later there was another knock at the door and three men forced their way into the home," they said in a statement.
"The man was struck in the head and knocked unconscious and was later located by a friend who took him to hospital.
"The men stole a set of house and car keys, a mobile phone, the victim's wallet containing cash and a replica diamond ring."
Police say a silver coloured four-wheel drive was seen in the street in the early hours of Boxing Day and they believe it might be related to the attack.
