First Word: Mark Thomas' grandsons speak volumes

Our three grandsons had us at "go", or, in their cases, at "mamma". Mind you, having the kids utter words was just a bonus, because their pre-literate chortling and gurgling had so captivated us. A confession of utter partiality is in order. After the boys did begin to speak, we have been pitifully, terminally entranced by everything coming out of their mouths. We will take any excuse to re-play videos, to order up a Skype, to natter away on the phone, or to arrange a trip for a face-to-face talk. Nothing, though, has matched the three-year-old's reaction to being crossed by his grandmother.
