Mandy recently starred in an autumn campaign for Birdsnest's in-house label bird keepers.

And Birdsnest is also designing her bridesmaids' dresses when she and Toad get married in Pambula in September.

Their two-and-a-half-year-old twins, Layla and Lenny, will serve as flower girl and page boy, while Mandy's three sisters will be bridesmaids. The bridesmaid dresses are designed by Elle Hopwood for Birdsnest's exclusive label, Moonlight Bird.

Mandy's own dress is being designed by CC Bridal in Pambula.

"It is getting very close," she said.

"I'm glad I started planning 11 months out because it's nearly all done. I'm excited things are happening. My dress is being made, my ring is being made."

Toad and Mandy have been together for four years and have packed so much into that time, not only becoming parents but going on a national home-renovation show. They had their historic Candelo homestead renovated and won the competition, taking home the $355,000 in prize money.

"We're definitely still enjoying the home," Mandy said.

The garden remains a much-used space ("the kids play in it all day"). As does the kitchen, Mandy's favourite room.

"We have so many nice places to sit and look out at the view but we always seem to end up sitting at the island bench in the kitchen," she said.

Birdsnest recently did a shoot at the couple's home in Candelo, with Mandy wearing the latest in autumn fashion from bird keepers.

"Mandy has such a warm and friendly personality and is so down to earth which is what won the hearts of Australia and is what makes her such a great fit for Birdsnest - she is relatable yet aspirational," Birdsnest said.

And Mandy and Toad will be enjoying a quiet cup of tea watching this year's House Rules, which starts on Prime on Sunday.

"It will be a bit more entertaining for us rather than re-living it all," Mandy said.
