Slipper comes back into the starting XV at loosehead prop, with Scott Sio dropping to the bench as the only change to the starting forward pack that beat the Cape Town Stormers in a defensive masterclass last week.
In the backs, he's also rotated his starting scrumhalf with Matt Lucas coming in for Joe Powell.
McKellar has also made two changes to the bench, with Connal McInerney replacing the injured Josh Mann-Rea (knee), while Irae Simone takes Wharenui Hawera's spot.
It's a massive game for the Brumbies, who are looking for their third consecutive win, as they look to continue their climb up the Super Rugby ladder.
While the Brumbies are 11th overall, and third in the Australian conference, they are just one point outside of the top eight and just five points behind the Melbourne Rebels - Australia's leading team.
Seven points is all that separates the Rebels from the second-last Waikato Chiefs, meaning a win could see them climb into the finals berths.
