He'll play his 100th NRL game in charge of the Green Machine against the Manly Sea Eagles at Brookvale on Sunday.
Raiders fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (knee) looks set to play, with the team travelling up to Sydney on Friday.
Records are a bit dicey, but it's believed he's only the third Raider captain to bring up the century behind Mal Meninga and Simon Woolford - although it's unclear how many Dean Lance skippered.
Given Meninga played 166 games for Canberra, it means if Croker is in charge of another 67 then he'll definitely have gone past the NRL legend.
Croker made his NRL debut against Sia Soliola, when the latter was playing for the Sydney Roosters, but they were Raiders teammates when Croker was made captain in 2015.
Soliola said Croker embodied everything the Green Machine was about.
"He just deserves all the accolades he gets because he's done a lot in the game and he's only young as well and he's still got a lot of football in him and a lot of growing to do, which is really scary," Soliola said.
Croker's been a record-breaking machine.
At 28, he's already the Raiders' all-time leading point scorer, he's three tries off joining Jason Croker as the all-time leading try scorer and he's third for most games played for the club.
And as Soliola said, the scary thing is he seems to be getting better.
Just take his insane offload in the win over the Brisbane Broncos.
His arm weaved around the defender before getting off a backhanded flick for Nick Cotric to score the opener.
Croker's co-captain Josh Hodgson said that offload has always been in the centre's locker.
He felt having a gun winger like Cotric outside him made Croker even more dangerous.
"Having someone who's as strong as Nick on that outside edge it keeps their winger in two minds whether to come in on Jarrod or stay out, because he doesn't want to get burnt," Hodgson said.
"It certainly helps having Nick out there."
