Mid-winter Tassie Takeover
In Tasmania's deep south, in the dead of winter, thousands get wild, wassail and burn a two-storey wicker man. That's how they roll at Willie Smith Cider's Huon Valley Mid-Winter Festival, and on May 12 they're bringing a taste of the Apple Isle's dark side to Canberra. They'll take over the taps at the Old Canberra Inn, where there'll be folk music, dancing, story-telling and a mid-winter inspired feast - plus a chance to win a trip for two to the festival. oldcanberrainn.com.au
