ACT Fire and Rescue crews were called to the fire at a property on Stonehaven Crescent at about 9.10pm.
Residents of the home were safely evacuated, however a female was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics.
The fire started in a dishwasher and was contained to the kitchen.
An ACT ESA spokesperson reminded the community not to re-enter a smoke-filled premises once evacuated.
