The MasterChef judge will be coming IKEA Canberra on Friday, May 24 for two free workshops, open only to IKEA Family members.
Preston will share with guests his secrets on how to create six simple, everyday dishes using Swedish Food Market ingredients.
The workshop will feature bespoke recipes created for IKEA.
Preston will use "easily sourced produce" to create a fusion of Swedish flavours, with hints of Mexican, Italian and Vietnamese.
IKEA Family members must book for the workshops, which run 10am to 11am and 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
IKEA Canberra store manager Sean Howell is looking forward to the event.
"Matt Preston is such a renowned and well-known food icon, so we can't wait to have him share his tips and
tricks exclusive to our IKEA Family members," Mr Howell said.
"Guests will see Matt create his two new recipes, the meatball taco and cinnamon bun ice cream sandwich, as well as share his advice on how we can best prepare and store food to minimise our food waste."
