Gang-gang: Out on life's ocean in a little boat

All of us who are no longer spring chickens and who look in the mirror (some of us are no longer plucky enough to do this) and make frank appraisals will notice how wrinkles are besieging us. In ceramicist Amanda Shelsher's self-portrait, Swell, she has, she explains to us from Perth, used the wrinkly designs that receding waves make in the wet sand to describe the wrinkles she sees in her own skin now she's in her 40s.
