"Our daughter Mia gave us quite an unexpected surprise over the weekend making us a family of 3 a month ahead of schedule," Ms Lee tweeted.
Mia is the first child for Ms Lee and her partner Nathan.
The former lawyer opened up in February about falling pregnant again after a miscarriage in June last year during budget estimates.
"Having never been pregnant before I don't even think it entered my radar, and then when it happened to me, I started talking to girlfriends and close friends and there was so many women who said they'd had one or two miscarriages, or however many it might be. I realised that it is a lot more common than anyone thinks it is," Ms Lee said.
She said it was surreal fronting up to work the very next day to question the minister.
"But I've got a job to do, and that's what you have to do," she said.
Should Mia join her mum when she returns to work later in the year, she will be in good company.
Ms Lee's Liberal colleague Giulia Jones has brought her baby Liliana (born last June) into the chamber several times, and was the first ACT parliamentarian to breastfeed a child during question time with her son Maximus in 2014.
