NSW Blues doctors have said Cotric should be OK, with Stuart clearing the State of Origin debutant of any structural damage on Thursday - although he said his knee was still sore.
But the Raiders have kept Michael Oldfield in the squad of 19 as cover in case Cotric pulls up sore. Half Aidan Sezer was the other player retained in the squad.
Cotric sent a scare through the Raiders camp when he went down clutching his knee in the 61st minute of Origin I on Wednesday night.
But he was able to play on and completed the game in the same bullocking manner he approaches every game.
Stuart said if he passes all the medical tests then he will play the Tigers.
"It was a pretty tense moment. You never like to see guys go down with especially knee injuries," he said.
"I don't know exactly the extent of it yet, but ... if he gets passed medically, he'll obviously be playing, but I'll leave that to the medical boys and once we get to Sydney we'll find out.
"But speaking to him [Wednesday] night he was sore, but I don't think there's any real damage to the knee ... it seemed to be stable.
"He looked to be running well at the back end of the game, but that's also adrenaline. I'm sure he'll pull up a little sore today, but hopefully he's OK."
Stuart also expected Maroons warhorse Josh Papalii to back up after his big effort.
Canberra held their captain's run in Canberra on Thursday morning without their Origin stars and met up with them in Sydney.
They walked around the new Parramatta Stadium on Thursday afternoon to get a feel for the ground.
