Priscilla Brooten, 46, was reported missing in December, months after she was last seen at Bracken Ridge in July.
Police are testing items dug up at a Brisbane home as they continue their hunt for the missing woman.
Forensic officers will stay at the property until the house has been searched inside and out.
Ms Brooten's car was found abandoned in Bunton Street, Scarborough about 9pm on July 6.
