Pre-sale tickets to Canberra's Spilt Milk festival were exhausted on Wednesday, one day before remaining tickets are released. However, unlike other years, the festival's general release did not fly out the door.

The festival has sold out in less than 30 minutes every year since launching in 2016 - except this year. As of 9am on Wednesday - one hour after tickets went on sale - there were still tickets available to the music festival from ticketing website Moshtix.
Spilt Milk returns to Canberra's Commonwealth Park on November 23 and debuts at second home Ballarat's Victoria Park on November 30.
The 2019 line-up has organisers boasting that it's their biggest yet, with star-studded internationals and outstanding locals including Khalid, CHRVCHES, Juice WRLD, Illy, Middle Kids, G Flip, Kota Banks, Ocean Alley and more.
This year was the first year Spilt Milk offered extra chances for presale tickets, with a ticket pop-up store at Rye Cafe in Braddon on Sunday offering Canberrans the chance at early tickets.
The festival also partnered with Tinder on Wednesday, offering music fans the opportunity to swipe right on a Spilt Milk profile to gain presale tickets.
