A car police believe was stolen was driven down the wrong side of the road during on Limestone Avenue in peak afternoon traffic.

Officers were on patrol in Ainslie just after 5pm on Tuesday, when they saw a white Subaru Liberty drive past. They believed it had been stolen.
Police tried to pull over the car, but the Subaru driver sped away after being directed to stop, police said in a statement.
The Subaru driver drove through a red light at the intersection of Limestone Avenue and Ainslie Avenue, before driving down Limestone Avenue on the wrong side of the road.
Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
