A Repco store in Greenway was ram-raided just after 3.30am on Thursday, where a dark-coloured Toyota Hilux was used to gain access to the store.
ACT police say they believe three people were in the car at the time.
A second ram-raid took place just after 4am at a Weston Domino's Pizza store. Police allege two men used a small hatchback or SUV to force access to the store.
An ACT police spokesman said investigations were under way to determine if the two incidents were linked.
