The for-purpose organisation focuses on decreasing the barriers that arise for people with a physical and neurological disability when it comes to accessing quality exercise services.
They offer evidence-based programs that are specifically tailored for each disability, supported by a team of highly trained exercise physiologists and physiotherapists.
Since opening in 2017, NeuroMoves Canberra has been helping many clients achieve their goals and regain their independence.
Due to growing demand, they are now open five days a week making it more accessible for you to achieve what you thought may be impossible!

NeuroMoves client, Jordan Kramp (pictured), helped lobby for the exercise service to come to Canberra and has been attending since the very beginning.
"The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable about my condition and understanding about my body. The gym is also such a great social and friendly environment to be in," he said.
"Every session I get a great workout, and have noticed massive changes in my core strength and upper limb capabilities. I am able to do things I never thought possible, such as being able to transfer independently and I'm looking at returning to driving soon."
The service can help anyone with conditions such as spinal cord injury (paraplegia and quadriplegia), acquired brain injury (ABI), stroke, transverse myelitis, multiple sclerosis (MS), motor neurone disease (MND) and cerebral palsy (CP).
NeuroMoves programs include one-on-one sessions, functional electrical stimulation, locomotor training and a community gym program with a wide range of accessible gym equipment. There is a program for everyone of any age group!
NeuroMoves are also offering a FREE initial assessment to SCIA members valued at $299! Membership is free for all people with a disability, their family and carers.
