An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital in a critical condition after a single-vehicle crash in Duffy in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The ACT Emergency Services Agency said it was called to the crash on Burrinjuck Crescent about 2.30am and ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Ambulance Service attended.
"The single occupant of the car was severely trapped and crews worked to extricate the person," it said in a statement.
Police said the car crashed into a tree.
Burrinjuck Crescent was closed while the AFP investigated.
