A female employee at a Cooma aged-care facility has been charged by police with assaulting an elderly resident.
The 61-year-old woman was arrested by NSW police on Tuesday over the alleged assault of an 89-year-old man, who was in his wheelchair at the time of the incident.
It's alleged the employee assaulted the man around 3.30pm on Saturday.
The woman was charged with one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and five counts of assault.
The woman was arrested and taken to Cooma police station.
She was granted conditional bail and is due to appear before Cooma Local Court on August 7.
