Marshall, when teaming up with Tigers hooker Robbie Farah, has only ever lost once to the Green Machine - which came the last time to the two teams met in round 13.
Before that the duo had won 11 straight games against the Raiders.
Marshall's record on his own is also phenomenal - 18 wins from 20 - heading into the clash at Canberra Stadium on Saturday.
He comes into the contest fuelled by Wests' 30-18 loss to Parramatta last weekend.
The Tigers have lost their past two NRL games and have only won one of their past six encounters with the Green Machine.
Along with Marshall, Raiders coach Ricky Stuart also was wary of halfback Luke Brooks and fullback Corey Thompson.
"We've spoken about the environment that they're sitting in at the moment. They're a good footy team," he said.
"They were unlucky not to win last week. They've been close to winning over the last few losses they've had.
"They're a very, very smart attacking team. They're a team that can score points. They're a team that can actually score quick points.
"With two very smart halves, a very smart fullback, we defensively have to be on this week because if we're not we're going to make it a really hard day."
MORE RAIDERS NEWS
The third-placed Raiders are looking to cement their spot in the top four.
But they've been hit by the loss of star centre Nick Cotric to suspension for his dangerous throw on St George Illawarra's Tim Lafai last weekend.
Stuart said while Cotric was a big loss, he was fortunate to have veteran Michael Oldfield to call on.
Oldfield has been an outside-back Mr Fix It for the Raiders since joining them midway through 2017.
He's played just 14 NRL games since then, filling in on the wing or in the centres as needed - covering for Cotric, Jordan Rapana and Joey Leilua.
"He's a good player, Nick. I'm very fortunate to bring in the experience of Michael Oldfield," Stuart said.
"You talk about going into the back end of the season you do need some luck.
"It hasn't been our season for that, maybe at the end of the season we get a little bit of luck and have everybody on deck and available for selection.
"But I'm very fortunate with Nick out now I can bring in an experienced Michael Oldfield."
