"About 3.30am a resident of a house on Chalker Circuit was awoken by noises at the rear of the premises. The resident discovered a vehicle and a shed had been entered, and an attempt had been made to enter the house, but those responsible had left the scene," police said in a statement.
"Subsequent examination of CCTV footage from the premises revealed three men, two with what appear to be firearms, had been in the back yard."
