The four-month suspensions of Paul and Matthew Jones will stand, while their mother and training partner Barbara Joseph has had her ban cut to one month.
Their appeal was heard by the ACT racing appeals tribunal on Tuesday.
They'd been found guilty of failing to provide veterinary treatment to I Am Rocky before the four-year-old horse died due to a colitis-related illness on February 24.
It means from next Thursday, when the suspensions come into effect, the trio will have to transfer all their horses to other trainers for one month before they can return under Joseph's watch.
They have nominated two trainers for the stewards to approve - one for their Canberra stables and one for their Sapphire Coast ones.
Paul Jones said they were waiting for the stewards to approve the trainers before making them public.
"I'm obviously disappointed with the four-month suspension. We consulted our vet and the horse was treated in the stable," he said.
"Unfortunately the horse took a sudden turn for the worse and died unexpectedly to us all.
"We're very regretful about the death of the horse."
Jones said he and his brother Matthew would need to seek alternative work for the next four months, during which time they're not allowed to undertake any training work.
He said there could also be job losses at the stables as well.
"Matt and I are probably going to have to get some sort of income for the families," Jones said.
"There's probably going to be some staff losses out of it. We did employ 30-odd people.
"Over the next couple of months we probably just have to put some of our horses in the paddock and scale it back a little bit."
Meanwhile, Queanbeyan trainer Todd Blowes' stellar 2019 continued with his boom horse Noble Boy one of three nominations for NSW country horse of the year - along with Victorem and Bellflyer.
Noble Boy is the $4.60 second favourite for the $1.3 million Kosciuszko behind Victorem ($4).
His seven wins from nine starts includes this year's Country Championships at Randwick.
