And they couldn't have done it much better for co-captain Josh Hodgson's 100th NRL game - flogging the New Zealand Warriors 46-12 at Mt Smart Stadium on Friday night.
Hodgson played a big hand in it himself - scoring a try, setting one up, running, kicking, stripping. Everything.
Raiders coach Ricky Stuart was emphatic when asked where Hodgson sat in terms of the best hookers in the game.
"I'm happy with him, put it that way. I wouldn't swap him for any other hooker," he said.
The win sent the Raiders second on the NRL ladder, although both the Sydney Roosters and South Sydney Rabbitohs are yet to play this round.
The Green Machine head into their massive clash against the Roosters at Canberra Stadium Sunday week on the back of four straight wins.
Raiders prop Sia Soliola was also celebrating a milestone - his 300th first grade game across the NRL and Super League.
He turned back the clock to his NRL debut in 2005 when he started on the wing, showing a turn of pace to open the scoring.
His front-row partner Josh Papalii continued his brilliant season, charging for 157 metres and a try.
Completing the starting front row, Hodgson's the best in the NRL at the one-on-one strip and he produced another, with the turnover leading to a try - Aidan Sezer grubbering in behind to Michael Oldfield.
It was the first of two for Oldfield, who also scored in the second half.
Raiders winger Bailey Simonsson also scored a brace - the first from a Hodgson offload that looked forward and the second a barnstormer the Terminator would've been proud of.
It took five Warriors not to stop a Simonsson that refused to stop.
Stuart said the effort the team produced told everyone exactly what they thought of Hodgson.
He said the past two seasons, where the Raiders missed the top eight after a number of close losses, had been what's galvanised his team to get them where they are.
"Playing his 100th game was a special milestone and I think the boys showed people here watching the game tonight and all our fans back home the respect we have for him," Stuart said.
"We want to do it for ourselves, but also with a milestone like that we want to make it special for the person achieving it and they respect Hodgo.
"He's got a wonderful amount of respect around the club and he's earned that and the boys love him, and they did that for him tonight. That pleases me to no end."
Raiders second-rower Joe Tapine was brilliant.
He also ran for 148m and scored a try just before half-time to make it 30-0 at the break.
It could've been more with Jarrod Croker having two ruled out by the Bunker.
Making matters worse for the Warriors, they lost halfback Kodi Nikorima to an ankle injury after 20 minutes.
His replacement Chanel Harris-Tavita scored all of the Warriors points, including two second-half tries.
The win was rounded off with an all-too-easy Jack Wighton try in the dying seconds and Soliola taking the conversion to cap his milestone off perfectly.
Now for the Roosters. And Jarrod Croker's 250th.
