Let me tell you my story. This is my second stint at the shelter. The first time I was brought in as a stray and it was presumed that I had suffered from a snake bite.
I was very upset, and in a bit of pain (as you can imagine) but came along in leaps and bounds when I was better.
I was then adopted but had to be returned to the shelter due to my owner moving, and am quite put out by this change of events.
This time, I am looking for a stable home that will keep me as a part of their family. I have shown a playful side here, but can still come across as a bit shy when here in the shelter and meeting new people.
I enjoy watching the world from my perch in the window, and talking back when people say hello to me.
I am affectionate on my terms and would really like a home with ''cat savvy'' owners who have owned cats before, and understand that I need my alone time sometimes.
I don't enjoy being picked up and handled a lot, but will happily follow you around and supervise your activities.
A property check may be required before adoption to ensure the safety and welfare of our animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties.
The adoption fee for Brandy helps cover the cost of her mandatory desexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew.
If you'd like to meet Brandy, call into the shelter Monday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm or for more information call 6287 8100.
