Two men will on Monday face court for allegedly using stolen vehicles to force entry into Canberra businesses.
Officers from ACT Policing's Criminal Investigations team arrested the two men on Sunday following an investigation into an attempted burglary at the Deakin Newsagency and an aggravated burglary at the Lyneham Newsagency on Saturday night.
Investigations led officers to a vehicle parked in Braddon, where police arrested a 22-year-old man and a 33-year-old man.
The older man was charged with going equipped for theft, attempt burglary, burglary and theft.
The younger man was charged with driving while disqualified, driving under the influence of drugs, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, possessing stolen property and breaching a good behaviour order.
Investigations into the two weekend incidents are continuing and further charges are expected to be laid, ACT Poling said in a statement.
