Visitors were able to meet fire fighters, see inside the fire trucks and learn about the history of Canberra's fire departments.
Children were lucky enough to meet the real life heroes and were given the opportunity to try out equipment and sit in the drivers seat of the trucks.
The museum is open to the public Saturdays with a gold coin donation requested for entry.
